The magician displays a fold flat decorated tube with three large holes on two sides. The tube can be very freely displayed, then three large silks are passed through the holes in the sides. The tube is turned to display the silks fill the entire inside of the tube. A large lit candle (which could also be examined) is now passed through the tube. It seems impossible this can go through without burning the silks. Yet when the silks are removed, they are found to be totally unharmed.
